Third Floor

The third floor houses most of the large exhibition and performance spaces at CalArts, though work is created and exhibited across the entire campus. Also on this floor is Steve's Café, our on-campus cafeteria dining space. The Main Gallery is the figurative center of campus and home to many events, such as our annual Halloween Party.

MOD Theater

The Walt Disney Modular Theater is a completely modular theater space with an overall audience and playing area of 4,480 square feet. Comprised of 4’x4’ sections which can be raised and lowered in increments, the inner walls are also composed of 340 4’x4’ removable panels, allowing for infinite reconfiguration and limitless design possibilities.
