Academic Remote Support

The Office of the Provost is offering additional support to CalArts faculty for planning, developing, and running their courses remotely.

A small team of experienced faculty and staff are available for 20-minute 1-on-1 appointments, group drop-in sessions, or hands-on practice with Zoom or building coursework.

You need to book an appointment on the central booking calendar below. All appointments and drop-ins will be conducted over Zoom; the Zoom link will be emailed to you after you confirm your appointment.

Online Teaching Resource Library

The Online Teaching Resource (OTR) Library is a knowledge base of how-to guides, templates, and support documents for instructors developing or facilitating online, remote or hybrid courses. Most of the content in this guide is created by the online team in the Office of Global Initiatives and Extended Studies at CalArts. The site is constantly being updated, and is a primary resource for Faculty Training for Teaching Online.
