The Office of the Provost at California Institute of the Arts oversees all academic planning and priorities, establishing policies to ensure that resources are aligned to support the teaching and learning objectives of the Institute’s faculty and students.

Accreditation 

CalArts voluntarily participates in both national and regional accreditation as a public acknowledgement of the Institute's commitment to ongoing improvement.

The institute has been accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) since its founding.
