An intensive four-week program, the Winter Institute is reserved exclusively for upper-level undergraduate students, and will run from Jan. 3-27, 2017, on the CalArts campus.
The 2017 Winter Institute focuses on Techniques and Design in Motion Graphics, and uses the music video format as a platform to explore a variety of motion graphic techniques used in both broadcasting and cinema.
By the end of the program students will have a good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, as well as an understanding of the whole process of creating motion graphics, from concept to screening.
