California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) announces today the appointment of Ann Wiens as its new Vice President for Marketing and Communications. Reporting to CalArts President Ravi S. Rajan, Wiens will begin her work as a member of the Institute’s senior leadership team on Nov. 28, 2022.

CalArts Center for New Performance (CNP) kicks off its 20th anniversary season on Thursday, September 29, 2022, with the world premiere of Scene with Cranes, written by acclaimed playwright Octavio Solis, directed by Chi-wang Yang.
