Campus Closing

CalArts has identified a possible threat to campus security.  The Institute's security personnel are working with law-enforcement to evaluate the situation.  CalArts will err on the side of caution and close the campus today, June 4, 2018, at 11:30 am to ensure the safety of its students, staff, and faculty. 3:30 pm PST - UPDATE: At this time, the investigation is still on-going.  Continue to check this web page for when the campus will re-open.

6:30 pm PST - UPDATE: Earlier today, local law enforcement investigated a threat to the CalArts campus. After a full investigation, law enforcement determined that the threat was not credible. The campus has re-opened and will resume normal activities beginning Tuesday, June 5, 2018.
