On Monday, Feb. 12 from 3-4 pm, CalArts hosts a special presentation by Elizabeth Nyamayaro, Global Head of UN Women HeForShe Movement, an initiative for the advancement of women.
HeForShe is partnering with CalArts Animation students to develop a series of animated shorts to be premiered at the United Nations General Assembly in September. Nyamayaro will discuss the initiative's mission and the importance of viewing gender equality as a human rights issue during a "town hall" style meeting.
