'Funding Strategies for Artists' will help any artist, at any phase of their career find and secure funding for their personal or creative goals. The first part of the class helps students learn how to search for grants, identify fit between funding sources and their projects, and differentiate between different forms of funding from foundations, government entities, nonprofits, and corporations.

The second part of the class is a deeper dive into helping students actually apply for a specific funding opportunity. Students will be tasked with assembling written materials and documentation to apply for funding by the end of the course. Feedback on materials will be given by peers in class presentations and through a 1:1 meeting with the instructor.
