Robert Glasper is one of the founders of a new sound that has changed the face of a genre. His award-winning career straddles the worlds of hip-hop, jazz and neo-soul. He is an American pianist and record producer, winning three Grammys and his song "Letter to the Free", written with Common for the Ava DuVernay documentary 13th, won the 2017 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics. Glasper's latest single, "Better Than I Imagined" features H.E.R. and Meshell Ndgeocello.
