Readings by the graduating MFA Creative Writing class
Next Words is a reading series and publication produced by CalArts featuring its graduating Creative Writing MFAs. Taking place in the spring at venues across Los Angeles—bookstores, art spaces, and even a former City Hall—it culminates in a final showcase at REDCAT. This year's anthology, titled
Running Moon, will also be available for purchase—a selection of fiction, poetry, nonfiction and hybrid genres curated and edited by the students.
Followed by an open-bar reception, the showcase offers an opportunity to experience work that is uniquely CalArts—the results of a writing program housed within an art school.
