Barbara L. Halperin was born in Chicago, Ill. and currently resides in Beverly Hills. After a year at the University of Denver she was accepted to CalArts, where she studied dance, film, and acting. She is currently the senior VP of production at The Gersh Agency. She, along with Phil and David Gersh, built the Production Department for the agency. Today it is considered the first and foremost one of its kind. She represents Oscar, Emmy, and Guild winners and nominees who are producers, cinematographers, production designers, costume designers, editors, directors, and VFX supervisors.
