Students wishing to live off-campus are urged to begin the housing search no later than August for the Fall
semester. Keep in mind rent usually starts on the 1st or the 15th of each month.
Our website provides many resources to assist in your search for off-campus housing. The listings posted on
our "Housing Offers" webpage consist of local units available for rent. The "Housing Seekers" webpage is a
way for students to get into contact with other students for roommate possiblities. As there are a large
number of students in need of off-campus housing, it may benefit your search by creating your own post under
"Housing Seekers". It is a great way to ensure you are living with other CalArts students and the rental cost
will become more affordable as more students share the unit.
