17 Filles / 17 Girls [3]
Delphine & Muriel Coulin
2011 / 90 min.
FILM/VIDEO: Inspired by the true story of high-school students in a Massachusetts fishing town who made a pact to get pregnant and raise their babies together, 17 Girls, is set in a French seaside village. It all starts with Camille’s announcement during gym class that she’s expecting a baby. The film intriguingly observes the teenagers’ often contradictory concepts of freedom, the future, parenthood, and autonomy.
