MUSIC: Inspired by works such as Laurie Anderson's Home of the Brave, Bumbayaya is a multimedia experimental musical with live electronic music, video and dance. Written by MFA Experimental Sound Practices student Anna Luisa Petrisko aka "Jeepneys." Featuring Tarren Johnson (choreography/performer), Lauren Michelle David (performer) and Dina Lasso (performer). Human/alien hybrid beings from the distant future and a faraway planet time travel to Earth in order to decolonize the future! Bumbayaya is the healing light that we call upon.
