Companies seeking to develop new ideas, nurture and identify emerging talent, and train their creative workforce partner with CalArts through a variety of development and engagement programs. Some partnership options follow below.
Internship programs allow CalArts students to gain new skills, obtain valuable work experience and network with professional colleagues. For CalArts' corporate partners, the internships provide a formalized way to test new talent and to identify future creative employees.
Through CalArts Corporate Think Tanks, corporate participants attend CalArts classes over several weeks to learn specific skills and techniques. Participants have unprecedented access to CalArts' outstanding faculty and talented young artists, both of whom bring a fresh perspective and creative ingenuity to their artistic fields and to the art of creative problem-solving.
CalArts corporate partners have the ability to create student classroom workshops where students develop concepts and ideas that can be utilized by the company for future projects.
CalArts offers the employees of corporate partners the opportunity to teach at CalArts on a long- or short-term basis. Through the Visiting Artists Program, corporate employees grow closer to the students, faculty and administrators of CalArts, while exposing students to a wide cross-section of practices and opportunities for future employment in a vareity of creative fields.
One of the most effective and high profile ways in which to engage and connect with the students of CalArts is to establish a scholarship in the company's name. Not only does this allow the talented emerging artists of CalArts to pursue and further their education, it allows companies to build deep relationships with scholarship recipients who may become future employees.
Throughout the year, CalArts hosts a variety of special events that are sponsored by corporate partners. By sponsoring these events, corporate partners are able to reach a targeted audience of CalArts alumni, artists, and patrons of the arts as well as to align their brand with one of the world's premiere arts institutes.
