Library catalog  is available 24/7.
A special collection of approximately 950 books that includes handmade books, books published by small independent presses, books designed by artists, as well as graphic novels and comic books. This collection began in the mid-1960s and includes many books by artists working in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
All Artists' Books are cataloged and may be found searching the online web catalog. Please search the catalog, write down the call number, and present the call number to staff at the Circulation Desk who will then retrieve the materials. Artists' Books must be used in the Library, under supervision of Circulation staff with the use of protective gloves. Artists' Books are available Monday-Thursday, 9 am to 10 pm, Friday, 9 am to 4 pm and Sunday 4 pm to 10 pm.
This collection includes some titles published prior to 1960, but predominately includes exhibitions from the early 1960s to present. Books are shelved by the year of publication for browsing ease.
Current & back issues are available. They must be used in the library and do not circulate. Online periodical indexes  are available. Periodical indexes in print are located in the Reference section of the library. The A to Z List of Electronic Journals, Magazines, Newspapers  can be used to find all periodical titles available to you through the library.
