Once our Regular Deadline has passed, we will continue to accept applications. Applications and portfolios submitted after the Regular Deadline will be reviewed in the order received until the program is filled. Once a program is closed, late applicants cannot be reviewed. Programs in Acting and Dance will close after the final scheduled auditions. There are no "make-up" auditions.
Please know that applying for admissions and financial aid are separate processes. To be considered for federal financial aid or CalArts scholarships, applicants must complete both the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the CSS Profile. The 2012-2013 applications are now available to be completed online. CalArts requires these forms to be completed by February 13, 2013. You will need to complete these forms prior to learning of your acceptance. Most applicants will not receive their admissions decisions until after the February 15th deadline.

After January 4, 2013 we will continue to receive applications on a rolling basis until programs close.
Students applying online may submit their fee with a credit card or send a check or money order after submission. Those students applying with our downloadable application must submit a check or money order with their application. Applications received without payment will not be processed. Fee waivers must be submitted in writing, and should accompany the paper application, or be sent after applying online. CalArts will accept the standard College Board fee waiver, or a letter from a high school/transfer counselor who can verify family financial hardship. Fee waivers are not granted to MFA applicants and international applicants.
