Interstate 5 in Santa Clarita was closed over the weekend due to a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on October 12. Caltrans has reopened both southbound and northbound lanes as of Monday morning. Click here for the latest news from the LA Times. 
Shuttle service will be provided to/from CalArts and the Santa Clarita Metrolink station serviced by the Antelope Valley Line on Monday. Please call Security at 661.222.2702 to request shuttle service. Click here for Metrolink schedules. 
On Monday, October 15, CalArts will be operating regular class and business hours
Students, staff and faculty who live in the Santa Clarita Valley are expected on campus to participate in regular institute activities.
Staff and faculty who cannot make it to campus will be expected to contact their supervisor for alternate telecommuting options. Faculty who are unable meet their classes will need to notify their school or dean so that students are informed quickly.
Students will be notified if any classes have been cancelled. Any students unable to get on campus will need to discuss how to make up the lost time with their instructors directly.
