Dorothy Stone (MFA 82), co-founder of the California EAR Unit, has died

Award-winning composer and flutist Dorothy Stone received her MFA in 1982 from CalArts where she studied composition with Stephen Mosko, Mel Powell, Leonard Stein and Morton Subotnick. For over 20 years she was the artistic director of the California EAR Unit, which she co-founded in 1981.
