Special Collections

The CalArts Library maintains a small collection of special, rare and fragile items. All materials in Special Collections are cataloged and may be found searching the online web catalog. Please search the catalog, write down the call number, and present the call number to staff at the Circulation Desk who will then retrieve the materials. Special Collections materials must be used in the Library, under supervision of Circulation staff with the use of protective gloves. Special Collections materials are available Monday-Friday, 9 am to 4 pm.
