Rumen Petkov is a director and storyboard artist. He graduated in 1978 with a master's degree from SOFIA University. He has won the Grand Prize at the Ottawa Animation Festival and the Palm D'Or at the Canne Film Festival. He has worked on Rugrats, Real Monsters and Duckman during his two years at Klasky Csupo. Recently, he directed Johnny Bravo and Dexter's Laboratory for Hanna Barbera. He has fifteen years of international experience in animation, including over one hundred short films and one feature. He is currently working on The Mummy TV series. Previous projects include Woody Woodpecker and Cow and Chicken (directing).
