Rachelle Katz, Associate Dean, Finance and Operations, is responsible for overseeing the management and development of the facilities serving the various programs of the Film/Video School. Prior to coming to CalArts, she worked extensively within the entertainment industry as a production executive for independent producers. She was the executive in charge of production for the Warner Bros. release Imagine: John Lennon and the Emmy nominated Great Moments in Disney Animation. She worked on the Paramount Television series, Taking Advantage, as well as many other network television specials and home videos. She earned a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and a master's degree from the University of Michigan.
