Winter's body of work consists of films she created in a very close collaboration with composers and musicians, such as Elena Kats-Chernin, (Sydney); Simon Stockhausen (Berlin); Daniel Wehr, (Munich, Los Angeles); Enjott Schneider, (Munich); Ensemble Modern (Frankfurt) Das Neue Ensemble (Hanover); and Paul Masvidal, (Los Angeles). Winter's award winning work includes visuals produced for screening in stage productions, opera, avant-garde and rock concerts. The Sydney Opera, Old Opera Frankfurt, Konzerthaus (Vienna); Paradiso (Amsterdam), and the Centre Pompidou (Paris) are the most notable venues were her films have been screened; along with the participation in more than 100 film festivals all over the world. Her 35mm films include: Clocks (1995), Smash (1997), Just in Time (1999), Escape (2001), Restored Weekend (2003), Possessed (2005), and Abroad (2007).
