Information technology at CalArts is designed to foster creative and academic development while supporting administrative needs through the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of relevant systems and services. CalArts has a distributed environment where technologies for artmaking are provided and managed by the respective schools.

Help Desk

The CalArts Netowrk Services Help Desk provides assistance and support to students, faculty and staff in using computer software and hardware, as well as using CalArts e-mail accounts. Another major responsibility of the Help Desk is to keep the computers in the library and administrative offices well maintained, properly upgraded, and virus-free.
