The WASC Nest is a blog for the CalArts community about WASC-related issues.

 

 

The WASC Steering Committee provides the leadership for CalArts' reaccreditation process, and its members represent various CalArts constituents.

On October 15, 2007, CalArts submitted its Institutional Proposal for Reaffirmation of Accreditation to the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

A Proposal Review Committee, made up of six faculty members and administrators from institutions across the country, accepted CalArts' Institutional Proposal on December 12, 2007.

To obtain copies of your transcripts, you must go through the Registrar's Office. The cost is $3.00 per copy sent to you. If you require a transcript sent directly to another institution, it will be sent to them at no cost to you. The Registrar's Office will require you to either come in and fill out an application, or simply send your request in writing (no e-mails) to:

Undergraduate transfer applicants

You must have your high school send us official transcripts of your secondary schoolwork and evidence of graduation or the equivalent. We also need official transcripts of all of your previous college work. These records are needed to complete the admission process and to assist our faculty committee in their review of your application and in their determination of year-level placement.
