Facilities / physical plant

Our campus was designed with artists in mind; with its large open areas, rehearsal rooms, performance spaces, galleries and studios. The Facilities Management staff works behind the scenes to provide professional services to the CalArts community including building maintenance, HVAC, landscape and environmental services, custodial services, security, mailroom/receiving and safety/disaster preparedness.

Our mission is to support the Institute’s creative environment with first class service in all areas. Our staff takes great pride in insuring that CalArts students, faculty and staff have a clean, safe and productive working environment.
