FILM/VIDEO: Known since the 1980s for his Super-8 films and performances, Luther Price has, in recent years, turned to 16mm film. Often creating new works by hand manipulating/effacing found footage, each reel he produces is an ecstatic vision of entropy and the joys and pains of mortality, inscribed directly onto the film medium. Luther will be conducting a workshop while at CalArts.
