REDCAT announces new gallery director and curator

Ruth Estévez Appointed Director and Curator of L.A.’s REDCAT Gallery

Today REDCAT, the California Institute of the Arts’s (CalArts) contemporary art space at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown Los Angeles, named Ruth Estévez as its new gallery director and curator beginning in November. Estévez is currently based in Mexico City, where she served as chief curator of the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Carrillo Gil from 2007-2011. She will take charge of the exhibition and publication programs at REDCAT.  Read story
