Information sessions

Information sessions are held throughout the week for each of the following schools: Art, Film/Video (including animation), Music, and Theater. If you are interested in the Dance or MFA Writing Program, please call our office for an individual appointment. If you would like to attend an information session, please call ahead.

During the summer months, CalArts is closed on Fridays.  The Institute is closed for the Fourth of July holiday on July 2 and July 3. Information sessions and tours are not available on those days.

Information sessions and the tour will not be available on Thursday, July 23.  In addition, information sessions will not be held July 27-30.  Tours, however will still be available for visitors.

Summer Schedule (May 18 - September 3, 2009):

Art: Mondays and Wednesdays, 1 p.m.
Film/Video: Mondays and Wednesdays, 11 a.m.
Music: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m.
Theater: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1 p.m.

Campus Tours

There is a one-hour walking tour of the campus at noon, Monday through Thursday during the summer months.  Always call the Office of Admissions in advance at 661.255.1050 to be sure there will be a session and/or tour on the day you plan to visit.
