Summer Session '15

Introduction

This summer CalArts will offer intensive classes in Critical Studies, residencies in animation and filmmaking, a CAP arts education program, and our late-summer Gateways for incoming international students and School of Music BFAs. Programs and classes are open to CalArts students and alumni as well as guest students with college experience. For CalArts students this is a chance to catch up or get ahead in your Critical Studies coursework, for guest students this is an opportunity to experience what CalArts has to offer, and for alumni this is an invitation to return to the creative community and enhance your critical thinking skills.

For your convenience I have included all the basic information about Summer Institute ’15 as well as a list of course offerings. Additional information may be found on the CalArts Residency for Teaching ArtistsInternational Gateway  and Music Gateway pages.
