Advising for CalArts First-Year & Transfer Students
At CalArts, we are dedicated to helping the newest members of our community make a positive start to their academic career. We understand that transitioning to college for the first time or beginning at a new college can be both scary and exciting. Academic advisors can help you understand the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
Advising for undergraduates offers students a chance to develop a meaningful and supportive relationship with their academic advisor, gain a thorough understanding of their degree requirements, and become mature, responsible and independent thinkers.
This academic advising website will provide students with the information they need to successfully complete their BFA requirements. We recommend that students should seek advising services at least twice a semester. We look forward to meeting you and helping you on your educational journey.
